I loved the camera angle when Betty was getting chewed out by Henry in the car. She looked/acted exactly like Sally. It is obvious that she is extremely jealous of Don, despite "knowing" that she has everything (except Don).

I loved the swimming scene where he races the guy in next swimming lane, only to realize it was pointless.

I am very curious to see how his relationship with alcohol changes. It is going to be hard to witness this series move into the late 60s. At some point the styles are going to become awful, and it will affect the characters.

I did not like Joan in this episode. Something was bothering me. Not sure what it was...

I felt like cheering when Don walked out of the NYAC and The Stones were playing...

I thought this was going to get used as a push to get them out of don's house (which don asked about several episodes ago).

Making up some crap to get don's boxes out of the house is a petty symbolic gesture...he is still sleeping in don's bed.

I think that was meant to just illustrate they both have their "feminine" ways of getting things done but at the end of the day, female equality in the workplace is still far off. But hey, people can say that today about the executive club.

However, I did like Draper's schooling for Peggy. God, I wish I could say some of this stuff to my own staff in a more direct manner.

I could predict that Joey was going to disappear soon given he was giving some extreme attitude to Joan. I'm surprised she didn't slap him for the rape comment.

I was surprised he does not speak of her as glowingly in front of his professional peers as he did in front of his mother. And of course, I think it was the first time he was stern with his new wife when she was present.

It was a good renewal episode for Draper; the swimming, eating even if it's only from a can, dating but not sleeping with everything that moves, and him showing up for Gene's birthday reminded me so much of Season 1 when he was there (partially) for Sally's birthday. That was the illusion that Betty wanted the most.

He is just now realizing that his trophy wife may not be as great a catch as he had thought.

Great episode overall. Don has his mojo back.

She is losing her confidence and that is her biggest asset. Well, maybe not her biggest asset(s), but you get my drift.

Even when she was having trouble with her marriage in Season 3, she kept her cool in the office. That was attractive. She is losing it. She told the guys off, but it was a low blow.
