While you're at it, you should clarify the rule regarding cross-posting. My understanding was that you pick and choose one subforum.

FTFY. Really, we are going to reach a point where we have more pinned threads on the rules than sale items on the front page, and still be getting PMs saying "well no one told meeeee"

Kill them all and let God sort them out.

But not before posting anything in sz38 and UK7 please.

They do have medication for this kind of thing now...

There should just be a way to sort the posts by when they were created instead of when the latest message was posted. Problem solved. People can try to bump them all day long, but it wouldn't help if this was implemented. If other forums can do it, I know SF can too.

The bump option helps for when items are added or prices are dropped.

Mods shouldn't have to create a new model for idiots who cant follow simple rules!!!

How hard would it be to have a simple pop-up screen (similar to the one that pops up with keywords already used in thread titles when a person goes to start a new thread) that simply states the rules? Seems like this would be a better alternative to creating the countless threads wherein the rules keep evolving and expecting sellers to read thru them all.

when was the last time anyone in the entire internet clicked 'I have read an accept these rules' after actually reading them (rather than just scrolling to the button that says 'i accept' to get rid of the pop up.

This seems like a good idea.

I think then, bans & thread locks would be 100% justified rather than "just because we say so, you should have read the 500 threads where this was discussed, and if you post in any of those threads you will be berated by other sellers who post just to get signature exposure, sorry [insert name calling here]".

When someone posts inside their own thread to move (bump) it to the top of the list so more people will see it. For example, since I am posting in this thread, it will now be bumped to the top.

J will probably implement this, if not on this system, than on the upgraded system, as a stop-gauge measure before the overhauled B&S system is installed.
