P.S. just saw next week's preview which takes place moments after the shot. Kid asks, "what happened?" No discussion of why he pulled a gun on the dad.
That could have been handled a number of ways. Would have been much better to have Shane die as the comic does.
My theory is that Shane is based on the Alan Ladd movie Shane. Gunslinger captures farmer's son's admiration, flirts with farmer's wife, and then leaves.
so... why are there 50 million zombies so close to that house? what happened to the invincible mud moat?
so... one zombie makes it through.... they all telepathically know how to make it past the house?
Herschel mentioned that the moat/creek was drying up, hence everyone boarding up in the house.
yes he said winter was coming and the mud was getting harder or something to that effect and the river was drying up.i guess this will be the transition to leave the house on to the next chapter..prison?
