But yeah, look up "cop-out" in the dictionary and you'll find this scene right beside it.

Honestly? I hope a decent number of Nielsen households purposely do avoid watching it on prime time tv just to say fuck you to their ratings.

They deserve it.

I hope someone orchestrates a small massive movement like that.

Well, it's no secret that while ratings aren't bad by any stretch, they are nowhere near the levels they were at their peak. I'm sure some studio head had a hand in that piece of crap episode last night.

Not sure what was worse....BvS or TWD finale...

Question for comic book readers (I'm not one):
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Does Rick eventually get to kill Neagan? How does NEagan get taken out?

He spares him and puts him in jail.

I only skimmed and it was the Negan storyline that made me stop, but ...

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

After the most convoluted back and forth battle and worst character reversal realization in the history of comic bad guys ("Wait, you mean stealing people's food under the threat of violence, randomly beating them to death with a baseball bat, and generally brutalizing my followers and anyone who disagrees with me, isn't the best way to rebuild civilization? Well, aren't I the big ninny! My bad, guys"), Negan is thrown in jail.

Because that won't come back to bite anyone on the ass.

So I see the arc of Morgan's prison cell

That episode was horrible. My wife fell asleep then woke up right at the end, after the episode ended she looked at me and asked why I still continue to watch this.

I could do nothing except shrug my shoulders.

I'm just happy I had Archer on DVR.

I haven't even seen it yet and I'm already pissed off.

That would have more people watching next season.

So would this...

I asked my girl if we could stop watching, but she said no.

I don't understand everyone's disdain of the farm season. Shane's development and the back-and-forth with Rick was my favorite story of the series. Carol's kid walking out of the barn was awesome.

Sophia walking out of the barn was probably the best finale of the show IMO. And they had the balls to shoot her between the eyes. No cutting to black bullshit.

QFI.

My guess is that Glenn got whacked and Maggie will die soon from the fever. The show really doesn't need 2 babies (1 is probably hard enough to work with on set, let alone 2).

That scenario lets them milk Glenn's death for 2 finales/premiers instead of just 1.

I thought it was funny how Eugene had his coming-of-age moment with Rick, and the very next scene showed him captured and beaten. I guess, to the audience that was watching the show with commercials, he was given at least a couple minutes of dignity. Without commercials, it's a jarring transition.
