The Walking Dead (AMC) - Page 159
I'm pretty torn. I know the director and he's pretty good, so I doubt the few visual things that threw me were him - the stupid Morgan vision for one - and while overall it was good, the bite killed me.
We see this again and again - Z's getting inside someone's reach to score a bite. Now in this case Morgan let him in, but one would think that the ninja cheesemonger would have a slightly better plan than pushing M out of the way and turning his back to the threat.
I just wish a director would read the script and bring everyone together to figure out how to stage it without it looking utterly stupid.
Cool cabin, though.
It's not necessary, that's the frustrating part. There are certain moving objects that require self sacrifice if you want to push another person out of its pathway at the last moment. A speeding 18-wheeler comes to mind. A trundling zombie does not. I didn't enjoy an entire episode being spent on either one of those characters, and killing Eastman in the end with that ridiculous scene was borderline rude to the viewer. Halfway through I thought - this is Walking Dead's 'fly' episode.
