since the guy is asked to help save the world, i'd say he's got some military to back him and his family up

It makes absolutely no sense for Lori to sacrifice her life for the 'chance' to save her baby, especially in a zombie apocalypse scenario.

I know its part of the story I thought that was pretty stupid.

WTF is up with the governor and those heads in his masturbation room? and where does he get all those nice head jars from?

Please do not attempt to make sense of or justify the actions of females by use of logical thought. It only leads to frustration and disappointment.

From the head shop, of course.

I was really disappointed that they changed it from him keeping his zombie daughter locked up - that was one of the creepiest things in the comic books. The head thing was kind of lame.

I thought Lori was going to die regardless?

Wasn't the head thing from the books?

Between the show, the comics and the novel (Rise of the Governor) there are essentially three different versions of the character, and I'm having trouble remembering which is which :)

You got that right. Surprise after surprise. All the drama in this season really makes up for season 2.

+1 - the farm lingered on in Season 2. I was like, "Hurry the **** up" after a while..

First, people should really stop with comic book spoilers. I read them but it looks like the show is getting a lot closer to them.

This is a much better season, they are making up for ****** writing by uping the intensity and brutality. I'd still prefer more realistic touches, I know the old saw is that it's a Zombie show, how realistic can it be. But what makes a great story is only having to suspend your disbelief once to accept the premise. I can't help it, the show would be better if they had actually made some simple adaptations. The duck tape armour is a step in the right direction, but why are the rest running around in random tank tops.

At least they're going into batshit crazy land which is also realistic in itself. Rick is taking proper shape. And the build up to Carl naming Laurie was well done. Just wrap that kid up please.

you're right about the armour situation. I'd be geared up in some bear armour if a zombie apoc ever happened lol.
