The Walking Dead (AMC) - Page 87

I guess showing rape is too much for AMC.

Too much or unnecessary?

When Tyreese arrived, I thought that was his daughter Julie and her boyfriend Chris that was with him but apparently it's his sister Sasha(don't remember her from the comics) and Ben(who was much younger in the comics)...

I noticed Andrea was her usual annoying self this past episode. And if there's anyone to feel sorry for, it's Merle. Poor guy never saw that set-up coming.

Well - Merle did lie about killing Michonne to the Guvna. I'm sure he never expected to be called a "terrorist" or traitor - but he definitely betrayed him and lied to him.

Merle is a piece of shit and is finally getting what he deserves. If he had half a brain he would have realized that the Governor is a Machiavel and would easily get rid of him to suit his needs and sustain his power. I always thought of Merle a potential rival to the Governors power. The Governor just outmaneuvered him and got rid of him before Merle had a chance to challenge the Governor.

Or maybe it is all a con and Merle is going to find out where the prison is to report back to the Gov

That whole gladiatorial show seems unnecessarily elaborate in order to find the prison. My explanation for Merle's fate seems more reasonable.

Show could really redeem itself if they gave Merle and Daryl lirpas and let them go at it Vulcan style.

That was an awesome episode. And nice cliffhanger for the mid-season finale. I think they´ll both make it out of there eventually. At least daryl will, or so I hope. Fans will go crazy if he´s taken off  the show.

I thought Glen already told Merle where it was.
You're right, I forgot about that.

woodbury knew about the prison beforehand. they didn't bother attempting to clear it out because it was full of zombies, which is why the gov was surprised to hear that rick's group cleared it out.

I don't believe Merle was betrayed by the Governor. I would think outnumbered or not, Merle would fight tooth and nail before he let those goons take the dagger out of his stump. He's playing along with the Governor's game of putting on a show to get Daryl on their side (or at least Merle's first).

Or maybe he´s just really pissed off because michonne (who Merle said he had killed) killed his zombie fake daughter and stab him with a piece of glass on his eye... just saying.
