The Glenn & zombie fight scene was great and so was the music building up the suspense in both that and the Maggie & The Governor scene. I seriously thought he was going to do it and kept thinking "nooooooo, Maggie frown.gif!"

Once I saw him drop his belt and started heading towards her, I was hoping she'd dive for it and grab his gun/knife/something.

Agreed. Glenn showed his bad-ass side, Maggie just whimpered, took off her top and got ready to be raped.

Now they just have to adapt to people.

I wish this show could get a little more consistent with the zombies.

A few weeks ago a shamble of zombies shows up inside the fence and it's a mad fucking panic with people running every which way. Today Michonne stands in the middle of the same number and a guy and a kid walk out and casually smack them down. But later soldiers run for their lives from what looks like 10 or so in the woods.

By the way, why are there so many zombies in the woods?

The stupid really gets in the way of the good.

Zombies literally come out of the woodwork. It's a standard trope of zombie flix that you can't hear them until they're almost on top of you - even though they groan all the time. They also come in packs - they've alluded to this on the show (herds), but they haven't really developed that point.

I was expecting some explanation of why the zombies didn't notice Michonne at first, but we never got it. Maybe her grimace has zombie repelling powers.

Not sure if this has been covered in the show, might be confusing it with the game, but she could stand there because:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

She had Zombie all over her.

Yeah, that was covered in one of the earliest episodes. Of course, like wearing armor, nobody ever mentions it again - maybe the fungus causes memory loss?

I'll buy zombies that sidle up, but just ask that the characters react in a consistent manner. At this point the zombies are pretty easy to deal with.

YOu wouldn't have much of a show if everyone wore armor and/or were covered in zombie guts.

Actually I think you would. Everything good about the show would continue.
The human drama, the reaction to total chaos, and even with armour the Zombies would be a threat. There are potentially hundreds of millions of them armour would not change that.

Easier said than done. It would take thousands upon thousands of years for a parasite like that to naturally adapt to our biology.
