Women don't just magically start lactating as soon as a baby is born.

Not the best in the world but watedr and canned food would keep a kid alive.

So would animal milk or dried milk, canned mil, ect.

On the subject of food, Personally I think that if 80% of the world died overnight, there would be enough food sitting around to feed the survivors for a loooong time. There is enough rice in one Big Box store alone to feed the whole group for 100 years. And the amount of canned goods is staggering. Same with ammo, one visit to a wall-mart, Big-5, or even small country hardware store and you would have 10's of thousands of rounds.

I love this series so far, it's been excellent.

Having not read the comics the Guvnor opens up so many questions about his agenda - is he evil and basically a cult leader building up his own harem in Woodbury, or is he making very hard but correct decisions?

My view on him killing the troops was that it was very harsh, but the right thing to do - he has a town of around 70 - families and children of all ages - as well as a small army to guard the place. If you introduce 10 trained killers, alpha dogs - it's going to seriously upset the balance of the place... killing them meant a whole lot of guns, ammunition and medical supplies and no upset to that town balance...or food supply.

As for the heads in the aquariums - I'm not sure if they are continued experiments or trophies from a man scarred by a year of war. All in all Woodbury's plotline is great so far smile.gif

Ep4 was excellent, a huge amount of suspense in the prison and what happened to Laurie and T dog + Andrew Lincoln's acting was superb. Hell even Carl continues to vastly change from the annoying child to having a good story... I dread to think how twisted he is now having seen that with his mother. (I do wish he'd take the hat off though, it is ridiculous)

In Woodbury, Murrell's character became very interesting. It seems he's developed like Darryl did and changed a lot, but then that's a big wait and see and very interesting.

The acting was very, very good. Yes, I even thought Lorie and Carl were quite good.

I actually really like Blondie, and liked the scene between her and the Guvnor having a drink and his reaction when she left. I also think she's pretty hot for a Milf icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Read the wiki link and I knew nothing of wet nursing - interesting stuff that other women can start through physical and psychological stimulation.

I'm with you guys on why would they not be prepared with formula as a back up, especially as the town near the Farm had a decent pharmacy. Series 2 was wholly disorganised begaviour though, they in no way had their shit together.

Noob question here - I've forgotten if the baby is definitely Rick's or possibly Shane's? Was that cleared up? It's the apocalypse and I'd have a hard time bringing up the baby of my best friend who diddled my wife foo.gif

In the show I think it's clear it's Shane's.

Probably would have gone been better if Lori didn't try to push the baby out ~15 minutes after feeling contractions and without being fully dilated.

In that case what a complete nightmare for Rick. His marriage destroyed and then his wife dead from her infidelity, with a living reminder for him to raise... A horrible, horrible situation.

I wouldn't blame him for making the baby have an "accident" so it was no longer around... harsh but that's my view on it as an observer

If I am not mistaken those were National Guard troops, local yokel weekend warriors. If that had been a group of "trained killers", Marines, SEALS, active duty Army infantry, they would have established a perimeter and would not have been wiped out by the Governor's force.

they're clearly killing men and searching for women.

Is it 100% confirmed Lori died???

Really enjoyed the episode. T-Dawg went throught the big door like a fucking hero, sacrificing himself (even if he was pretty much dead already). And Rick´s reaction at the end was pure gold.

As someone stated previously, a Producer of the show clarified that Lori was indeed killed.
