So if I total up my amount of time researching hair stuff and products and what I should get and everything... well, it probably adds up to about 1.5 weeks, maybe more, and I still haven't gotten anywhere. Is it all just about trying different things and using what works? Is there anything out there that can absolutely for sure make dry, frizzy, coarse hair soft and silky?

Brazilian Blowout or Brazilian Keratin Treatment. Only available at the salon and expensive, but it will take out the frizz and coarseness. http://www.cristygisselle.com/Site/B...n_Keratin.html Search youtube for more examples
