After about 12 Yahoo Answers questions, I'm still back where I started - pissed about my hair. I'm a guy, 15, and I have thick, wavy, frizzy, poofy hair that curls at the ends, about 4" long. I use a moisturizing shampoo and creamy moisturizing conditioner and I've tried leave-in conditioners, but it never really changes anything. My hair always ends up dry, frizzy, with a little wave that adds unwanted volume and keeps my hair from looking how I want it. A couple of days ago, I took my leave-in conditioner, made a bath, and got my hair wet, put a big glob of conditioner all over my hair, and combed it for a long time, then washed it all off. I repeated this maybe 6 times, and when I got out, I patted it dry and combed it, let it air dry, and then finally it was kind of like how I wanted it. More straight, less frizzy, but there were still a few curly spots right near my temple and it was still a little frizzy. Obviously, I don't have the time or money to do that every day. Another thing that annoys me is how it always stays as one piece - there's no real chance for discernible separate locks of hair. I'm trying to go for something more like this: http://www.topnews.in/files/Ashton-Kutcher.jpg
but you see how there's different little locks of hair instead of just one big mass? That's my main problem. And becuse of the frizzyness, it doesn't have any shine, but if I'm pulling it straight out it will shine. I've used a straightener a couple of times, it made it better, but I don't know if I want to do that every morning. So yeah... my main problems are just trying to get it to be straight, moisturized, and... well... less of it, but keeping length. So far, whatever things I used (other than a straightener and an hour of conditioning) hasn't really helped. What should I do? How should I get my hair cut? What exact products should I use (that aren't too expensive)? Oh and, straight out, is there even anything I can do...?
It was really hard not using the FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU face anywhere in there...
Thanks.
