I like the other fellow mentioned in the story:
Quote:
Last month a driver was jailed for 56 days and ordered to pay almost £3,000 costs at Manchester Crown Court for trying to dodge a £60 fine by moving a road sign. Care assistant John Hopwood, 42, was caught on camera in Rochdale doing 41mph in a 30mph zone. He took a 40mph sign from another street, put it on a lamp post in the area where he was caught then sent a picture of it to the fixed penalty office to argue that he was obeying the sign.

In Germany the highway police used to have the small Robot cameras mounted on their Porsche patrol vehicles, which I believe were 356 cars.

Fortunately the speed cameras in NSW are used to detect low IQ, not speed.

Oh that's fucking awesome! I wish I had warnings like that. Especially after my speeding ticket this morning!

In Sydney, there are always *two* signs warning of a speed camera ahead. And yet there is one particular one, about 10 minutes from where i live, which does $20,000 AU a day.
