Boot Help

I recently purchased a pair of Barney's NY Brown leather boots and a pair of John Varatos Brown suede boots. I am currently re-doing my wardrobe and these are the first pairs of shoes other than nikes or chucks that ive owned. I do alot of reading on this site so I'm not totally clueless but I would like to know the correct way to wear these styles---jean over the boot or would it be possible to tuck the jean in for a sloppy look. I currently own a pair of PS A.P.C jeans with 9 months of wear. Also im curious in what color/type of clothin goes well with brown shoes? thanks in advance!

You are going to take A LOT of crap for this, because its such a noobish question, but look, wear the jeans however you think looks good. Tucking your pants into them is probably going to look pretty affected, but if you like it, go for it. Last, pretty much everything but black looks good with brown shoes. Don't wear a black belt either. Best advice is to look through the What Are You Wearing threads and see what you like and try to use that as inspiration.

I wouldnt tuck in those Vavartos suede boots...only because I imagine it looking a little...pocahontas-y?

The Barneys boots are sweet, I owned a pair from barneys like those for a year before they fell apart, they look sa-weet though.

Women can tuck anything.

For men: BDU's and jump boots, tuck; wellies, tuck; johdpurs and riding boots, tuck. Nothing else.

Unless you plan to march through a snow bank or assault a Taliban compound near Kandahar, don't tuck you pants into boots.

If you are asking for a personal opinion then I would prefer boot with hill. White/cream/peach these are the light shades that would go with brown boot.
