"Pillars of the Earth" starts on Starz in a few days. The cast looks excellent -- Donald Sutherland and Ian McShane. Any others interested?

Heard the book was good and saw the series was coming on Starz so I decided to pick it up the other day, haven't started reading it yet but maybe tonight so I can try and finish before I watch.

Anyone watching the series? I'm loving it so far. I just wish the plot allowed Donald Sutherland to stay around longer.

Am I the only person that disliked the novel? Everybody I've met loves it, but I just fonud it to be 1,000 pages of drivel.
