My wife and I are going to be going to Cologne for a friend's wedding August 9-19.
I tried to translate myself, as best as I could, what jerseys and sizes they have available on the Cologne Sharks online store website, but am confused about some things...
1. Is the inventory that is listed on the Sharks team shop website pretty much up-to-date with what would be in stock if I were to go to the store today or do they maybe have certain sizes and items not listed on the website?
2. With the NHL jerseys, it's never a problem to just go online anywhere on the internet or to go to the arena and get a jersey in the middle of the summer. With the Sharks, am I going to be hard-pressed to even find a jersey in my size, or any jerseys at all, in stock or can I breathe easy knowing that there will definitely be jerseys, maybe even in my size, there?
3. The last question prompts me to ask this one. I know sizes are going to vary between the jerseys I buy here in the US and the one I would be looking for in Cologne. In the US, I am 5'8, 163 lbs and wear a size Adult Small for a jersey. Is it safe to assume that I would most likely wear the same exact size jersey there, or is that not neccesarily the case?
4. If for some reason I am not able to find a Cologne Sharks jersey in my size (Adult Small...Adult Medium at the largest), are there any stores or shopping malls or shops, etc. throughout the city of Cologne or Germany that would sell Cologne Sharks jerseys?
5. Based on team history, success, annual caliber of players year in and year out as well as over the course of their franchise's history, championships, media coverage, fan base, etc., which NHL team are the Cologne Sharks most comparable to? In other words, who are they the German version of from the NHL?
