iTunes won't import stuff from my iPod?

It won't import a lot of my CDs even though I own them and ripped them with iTunes on my old laptop. Has anyone run into this issue?

yes, there is a free program out there you can use to get songs from your iPod to iTunes. I forget the name, google it. I gave it a shot and it worked w/o any problems.

Yes, I ran into this last night after I tried to sync my iPhone with my recently rebuilt computer. Unfortunately, during this attempt at syncing all of my music in my iPhone was deleted, but not added to the library on my pc. I scheduled a call from Apple for 9 this morning, and they called at 9 on the dot. They sent me all my music files, and they are still being downloaded as I type this; in fact, they have been downloading since shortly after the call at 9 this morning.

Bought Senuti, it's working away right now.

It doesn't seem to be importing the album art and shit. Not that I care, I just hope some of the info isn't lost.

I use expod which I think is better than Senuti and free.

So when I sync my ipod it won't erase what's there? I have it all backed up on another drive inside my old failed laptop but I'd like to not have to deal with that....

Not sure what you are asking. Senuti should've put everything from your iPod into your iTunes library. Check that before you sync.

It appears to be all in order... however I need to figure out how to separate by genre, and not just within a list, but completely.

I can remember my dad telling me he was a Pete Rose fan because it made him feel good to see somebody older than him still getting it done at that level. I feel the same way about Rube flashing his digital skilz.
