Gift for someone in Shanghai

I want to purchase a gift for delivery to someone in Shanghai. It is intended for a 35 yr old US woman who is working over there and is having a birthday. Does anyone have anything to suggest in the way of reliable sources or even interesting items in the $100 +- price range. Help would be appreciated.

Does it need to ship from Shanghai or China, or can you send something from the US? Jewelry is always good.

Kent,
Thanks for the suggestion. It does need to ship from shanghai and get there in a day or two. I guess I'm going with flowers from a Shanghai shop and hope for the best. After all, it is the thought that counts, right?

Look for Johnston cashmere scarves on ebay.co.uk. Good deals to be had.

Are you not actually in Shanghai? Flowers in China are cheap. I recently bought 4 dozen roses for ~$40 in Beijing so I imagine you'd be able to buy a lot for $100.
