How can I stop messing up my girlfriend's face? - Page 2

Try something like Neutrogena moisturizer for sensitive skin. Other option to explore is jizz (on her face): has lots of zinc and protein in it that soothes women's skin well. If all fails, look for another girlfriend. I never heard of girls being lethargic to a guy's clean shaven face and to stubble.

Probably. Go buy some lotion and try it.

Grow your beard out. The ends of your hair will have a sharp edge from shaving so once it grows out trim the tips. Also, if you tend to have oily hair, remember to shampoo your beard. Always condition your beard to make it extra soft and comb it to avoid any tangling.

I can see how "shave neck, cheekbones, lip" could get you to chin strap if you were really overzealous, but no, I don't have a chin strap.

tell her to put on a fucking mask. you won't have to worry about shaving.

You guys are hilarious.

OP: Are you shaving and then letting it grow? Or do you keep it that length with a beard trimmer? It sounds weird, but my gf said she could feel a difference when my old trimmer died & I got a new brand (old I think was Norelco, new is Braun). According to her, Braun>Norelco>post-razor-shave growth. Something about the way it cut left the ends different, I guess. YMMV.

I just use a beard trimmer every few days to get it as short as possible. It's just 5 o'clock shadow for a day or two after that. This is a new trimmer... good point. This is the first girl to complain as well.

I did this one time and my girlfriend said she "wasn't digging the Abe Lincoln look".

Needless to say, it was never revisited.

Actually, not entirely true - I did figure out how to touch the stragglers at the far edges up a bit while leaving most of it intact. I think that's what the original comment was going for...

Beyond a certain point, I'm not sure there's much you can do.

Either grow it out a little more, or find a girlfriend with less sensitive skin.
I have a full beard trimmed very short and I've never had a major problem with irritating a girl's face.

There are other issues involved with keeping a beard and undertaking certain other types of "intimacy", though. Everything has a price. Nothing is free, not even facial hair.

If not chin-strap then what? What hair is left? Are you Amish? Beard sans-mustache is odd indeed.

Sorry I couldn't resist.
