90s songs that have not aged well

Look, I love Coolio and the beat is epic. But his rhymes have aged so badly - it just sounds juvenile, almost like a spoof of itself. The fat black guy that looks like he trying to drop a deuce while constipated in a sauna does not help the situation.

I dunno man, Ace of Base is pretty fucking dope. Edit: The video does reach Astley-like levels of awkwardness, though.

hmmm.....

i hate the opposite. where people gloss over how shit like the back street boys and in sync were universally panned during the 90's, but now are used on ring tones and "loved" as 90's time capsule greats.

but i have maybe a contraversial one:

Anything from 90's Pearl Jam especially off the album 10 (feels a little hokey and emo even though its grunge).

I wanted to say Dr Alban - Sing Hallelujah, but then noticed it's still awesome.

Michael jackson's "Scream". Surprising when they were making what was- at the time, and perhaps still is- the most expensive music video ever made, nobody noticed that the song had no melody.

So what all you are saying is black people music doesn't age well. Racist.

Grunge, in general, hasn't aged well.

I don't recall a positive reaction the song at all. People liked the video (I was amazed at how they danced their asses off), but the radio airplay for that song was minimal.

A lot of the more violent popular rap at the time seems pretty juvenile now.

Another vote for Grunge, I could not stand that scene back in the early 1990s.
