Next to the "fed income" withholding line on my paystub is listed "S 3." What does that mean? It doesn't mean I'm claiming 3 dependents, right?

My boss did say that I'll be getting money back next year and "not to worry about it." Maybe he called Tim Geithner on my behalf.
