There's usually a communal kitchen and dining area that perks up around sundown with hipster Spaniards and tipsy American sluts. Get a pack of cheap beer or bottle of wine, offer some out, and you're set.

Yeah, hostel bars can be a very fun time. The Art Hostel I stayed at in Sofia actually only had 1 or 2 others from the hostel there, everyone else was Bulgarian.
