I have recently decided to start styling my hair in the James-Dean-Pomp (please see examples below) However, it is very hit and miss these days, i need help getting a quick and consistent pomp every morning. ROUTINE: I am not afraid of product, but i am trying to avoid the appearance of the helmet head at all costs. After i shower, I towel dry my hair and put in some Garnier Fiber Gum at my roots and blow dry up (i have tried hot and cold dry) then i finish with some Hawleywood Layrite for extra hold and scent. By about 2 oclock my hair has fallen flat (i suspect because my hair is already heavy, and the added weight from the product weighs it down...). I have hear that Bumble & Bumble hair cream is good for a foundation. Some other facts: I have heavy multi-textured hair I live in a hot dry climate I have tried hairspray and am not opposed to trying it again I dedicate approx. 10 mins in my morning routine to hair. I would tolerate only 5 more mins max. I am not opposed to being a product whore... as long as it delivers! Please Help! YES!! NO!!
