Recommend a good (preferably cheap) frozen burrito.

Love the bean burritos at Taco Bell. And, they're pretty healthy too. However, when I try those frozen bean burritos at the store, they're a disapointment. All bean would be healthier, but I'll also consider those with bean and meat. Thanks.

Never thought I'd see Taco Bell and healthy in the same sentence.... the bean burritos are 25% fat and have a shitload of sodium in them. You'll be far better off buying some whole wheat tortillas and making your own burritos at home....

You could just make your own. Put some beans and cheese in a burrito, wrap it in cling wrap and stick it in the fridge...

This is, really, the right way to do it. I also like these $.50 frozen burritos from Publix. I think the brand name is "Patio." The chicken ones are the best.

Dear god man! I weep for your digestive tract. Those Patio things are awful. This is probably the best one I've tried:

These aren't too bad if you don't mind making them yourself and then freezing them (the only way frozen burritos can get into the health and fitness forum).

I am compelled to contribute... Wwwaaayyyyy back in the day, when I was working in a construction "clean up" crew whose primary job was scraping the industrial gunk off of newly installed windows, I didn't have 2 cents to rub together. I mean I barely made enough to survive. Cue Taco Bell. This is back in the day when the only things on their menu were .39, .59 and .79. Yep, bean burritos were .39 When I got paid, I'd go to Taco Bell and buy like 40, bring 'em home and put them in the fridge. It would literally be all I had to eat for 2 weeks until the next payday. I still occasionally snack something ridiculously bad from Taco Bell (like a Chalupa .... mmmm) but to this day, I can't even stand the smell of one of their bean burritos. Just passing a story along. Oh, as bad as those days were, yeah, I still look back on the kind of fondly. It's crazy, but that's life.

i would do things like that buy a bunch of items for cheap and eat that till next payday. those were the days. fond memories.
