zjpj, i trim my chest hair with a clipper on length 3. my body hair is real straight and it looks fine for me. yea it's obvious, but it looks clean and IMO a lot better than having full chest hair. pretty good responses from the ladies IME.

I got a Wahl rechargeable. I'm very happy with it.

For my hair I find the Magic Combs. Perfect solution hair style. Do your hair fast and simple. Fill comfortable all day. I recommend it in this website http://www.shemesh-artz.com . You can buy from them. I watch the videos tutorials and it was easy to make my hair wonderful.

I have an Osters that is 20+ years old and still works better than any I've ever had used on me in a salon. My dad used it when he was in the Navy.

Forfex BaByliss Pro. It served me for two weeks and then I took it in the shower, in direct violation of the warrenty. Silly me. It sputtered and died. I frowned. Don't make that same mistake!!

Have the same one (FX687BX?); used it twice so far. Works very well. Bought it after my Wahl started to work not so well, which might have had something to do with the fact that I dropped it on the ground. Have not tried mine in the shower

There really are no good cheap clippers. Even the "good" ones under 100 will cheat you before a year is up if you cut weekly, even with diligent cleaning and maintenence. The blades suck, as do the mechanisms. You can replace the blade, and still get a shoddy cut. I've been through it plenty of times.

Also, comb attachments are bullshit. They practically require you to give yourself two haircuts in one.

Oster 76 what you want for dependabilty, ease and cleanliness of cut, coolness, price etc. You have to buy blades for each hair length, but that's how you get a good cut.

For body hair, trim with a 3 already, and join the human race. Simians.

Way to toss cold water on an always-relevant conversation. On the other hand, my reply above is really all that needs to be said on the matter.

Depends how close you want to go. I have brought a couple of sets of remingtons and they dont go really close (3mm min)

I wouldn't suggest anything by Phillips, they just brake and clog up if you have particularly thick hair.
