Point taken, Tee and Xenox re:faded jeans with this particular suit jacket. I agree that it's a tad too conservative. I'll stick to wearing black/dark grey jeans similar to the one I wore in the other pictures. The tee I'm wearing is actually a scoop neck, though it's hard to see much of it since most of it's obscured by the suit jacket. IMO I prefer it to the v-neck. I think that a relatively high button stance also means that you should button all the buttons (a la Jil). In any case, it's not how I usually wear the jacket. I don't know how I feel about wear leather necklaces (usually don't wear jewelry) but I'll be sure to give it a try. And yes, you're right that it's actually a suit jacket. Sorry, I'm a bit sleepy atm . I do have some interesting blazers, but I feel that they don't really suit the look I'm going for. Thanks everyone! You've been a great help!

Never mind. I hardly adhere to the blazer/sportscoat/suit jacket distinction rules myself. I guess I was just in a wise-ass mood...

Samster, it's only a little bit off from being sf approved which means it's good except for bitchy nitpicking. :P cue bitchy nitpicking: Taper the jeans, don't hem them, stacks are good on slimmer jeans. They look acceptably slim on the top, if you even them out with the bottom, they'll look pretty solid. Shirt is nice, but with the rolled sleeves, you could undo another button. With sleeves down it'd be okay, but it is toeing the stuffy line with sleeves rolled up. Shoes are not bad, if you wanted to be more interesting you could, but it's not an issue. Pretty good, especially for a first fit, better than my first... edit: massive agreement with imgur being the best ever. ps anyone remember boomspeed. now that was the worst, made photobucket look good.

use imgur.com as your image host. you can edit your pictures on there after uploading, so easy to resize.

I wouldn't necessarily say hem the pants, just fixing the stacks might be enough, I think they're a good fit.

i agree, with the cut of the jeans, boots would look great.

Listi, thanks for the comments. I go back and forth on that button quite a bit, and really just let temperature dictate whether or not I actually button it. Any suggestions on how much to taper the jeans, should I end up going that route? max_r, yes, it's from this spring's SF collab. Wish I'd gotten the black too!
