Do you know where I could get another suit like this?
Sure, all you need is a time machine to get back to July.

Or call Tom Ford's store.

Man, that went fast!

I'm curious, where did you get this suit from that you can sell it for so cheap?

bear with me, I'm new to the forums and the massive discount to retail is a little jarring.

Just found this through google. Not surprised at all that this flew off the shelf.

My question is different: Tom Ford suits are made by Zegna. In the Zegna workshops. With Zegna fabrics. Why then are the TF suits so much more expensive? Can just the design and the perception warrant so much more?

They make it to a much higher standard then regular zegna clothes. Don't think its Zegna fabric either.

Higher standard as in? Hand pick stiching or special material lining or what?

Necro bumps. What a charming turn of phrase

Sorry mate. I was too bummed by not having gotten a chance at this splendid suit to have left this thread alone. Some day a TF suit just like this will be offered for 500 bucks and I shall claim it.

This has been discussed ad nauseam. Do a search. There was even an article where Despos took one apart and discussed the differences between Tom Ford and Zegna.
