Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)? - Page 7

In my opinion, the AE's don't quite work with the suede belt. If you had some dark tasseled loafers, a navy cardigan instead of the tan one (although that one could work), and a repp tie (burgundy, maybe) or something closer to the one in the picture of that RLPL shirt, the results would be superb.

Zara, Beijing.

Looks nice and warm, but seems to be mostly made from acrylic and polyester.

I was looking for a beater navy blazer on the cheap. Last time I wore a blazer when I was in secondary school.

After doing some quick research, I ended up with this one from Amazon.com:

http://www.amazon.com/Tommy-Hilfiger-Mens-Button-Blazer/dp/B004S0SDES/ref=sr_1_19?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1323790399&sr=1-19

I intend to replace the button with something more understated.

The primary use is as a beater coat in and around the office on casual days.

Should I or shouldn't I keep it?

Thinking of kopping this jacket for $170...I need a jacket that I can wear out to divier bars and the like over a sweater. All I have for winter are overcoats, and when I can't check them it's awkward to have them, plus over a sweater an overcoat is a bit out of place. Anyway, here is the link, it's Barbour Tokito...

Hermes sweater. Leather trim on chest. Fabric: 82% wool , 18% nylon (why the nylon?). Opinions appreciated

Where did you find that?? If it didn't have the Hermes label would you still be interested?

Hmm, I make this post, minutes later there's a bid on an item that went through a whole auction without a bid last week. Whoever you are, I hope you end up paying $500 for that jacket.

Then post a photo, not an auction link. What do you expect of the teeming thousands of anonymous browsers when you post a link to a nice jacket fairly cheap?

If the chest was an inch slimmer, I might be bidding myself. satisfied.gif

I could only get the photos to download as html pages so I just posted the link and hoped people would have a sense of decency. Whatever.
