Universal blazer/jacket

Im looking for a nice jacket that I can wear with jeans, but also wear it a bit more dressed up. Would like a nice fit too. Probably navy, as I dont wear much black. I have considered the J. Crew jackets. Must be fairly priced too. Thanks

You should probably just get one MTM from a local tailor, most blazers I've seen in department stores and whatnot have too many details like brass buttons and all that keep them from being versatile.

Or, that same local tailor can just put new buttons on for like $20 rather than buying a whole freaking MTM jacket. J. Crew, Rugby, etc. all make a nice navy blazer that either would have brown horn buttons or they could be put on quite easily.
