Apologies if I have been illegally bumping - can someone take a look and let me know if this is prohibited? I keep getting questions about measurements on these suits that I'm selling - - I have basically responded with new posts that I'll have to take a look when I get home and that basically although the tags say 40 the suits are more like 38s.

sorry if this has been answered: my thread got nuked because i bumped it by retracting an item. How long before its kosher to repost? There's a very old thread buried deep that I can no longer edit, so I dont really wanna bring that back.

Seems a common ploy to circumventing the price drop/bump rules is to post stuff for sale, bump for price drops and then relist at higher prices in a new thread and start the whole process again. An example:

Well, it looks like a couple weeks back you did bump it with a response that just said "replied to your PM's!" which is not a valid reason for bump. However, more likely is that you started this thread back in April and the time period has expired on being able to edit it.

You can start a new thread and ask the Mods to delete this previous thread. What I do is use the "Quote" button on my original thread (with all the pics and descriptions), then just copy/paste all that stuff into a new thread, edit as needed, and BOOM you're done. Don't forget to request for your old one to be deleted.

Some nice stuff in there, btw, wish the J. Crew jeans were my size.
