It would be nice if sellers would leave the pre-discounted price up when dropping it.

We're all adults here and the rules have not only been posted, but also stickied. Yet, there are tons of sellers still doing whatever they want, whenever they want.
If you can;t follow the rules, go somewhere else.

Oops, I was thinking about something else (multiple forums open and I'm pretty tired, so my mind's a little jumbled). Yeah, I actually think this is a pretty fair punishment, given the circumstances, and especially given this warning thread.

I'm starting a list of forum banned users here. The names will stay up until the $300 fine has been paid. To people who think that I am kidding about the fine: I'm not kidding. If you feel like having your thread perennially on the first page, buy a stickied thread. 1. stu00a 2. ravi944 Edit: I will include this list in the OP.

Is this going to apply to SWD guys as well? They seem to doing this BS much more than MC people. No offence to the mods, but they do seem to have a soft spot for SWD. Those guys get away with so much more than the MC.

Yeah, it's going to happen there too, but I'm cleaning this place out first, the reason being that there are many more semi-commercial sellers here that need to clean up their acts, while the majority of SW&D sellers are guys trying to get rid of something they sized down 6 on when they should have sized down 5.

you see here's the problem.

Up here in the control tower we have five pretty-damn-nice guys who get nothing out of the forum, but put in a bunch of effort to keep it ticking along. We set some basic rules. Very basic. People flaunt them. We remind people. People reflaunt. We start threads where the rules are reminded. People flaunt them. We attempt good natured wrist slaps to remind people of the rules. People flaunt them. We get pissed at being constantly flaunted. We institute time outs and bans. We get PMs saying 'wait, you never told us there was a rule'.

Disagreeing with mod = ban

I'd suggest something more reasonable like a $25 dollar fine. No one is going to pay the $300 dollar fine, they'll just stop posting or make a new username, but if it's a lower fine like $25 some people might actually pay.
