I can understand that buyers might find it slightly easier if they don't have to scan past the same threads again and again to look for new additions, but the rule leaves the buyer/seller balance of convenience a little skewed IMO.
That's how it normally works if you have enough police patrolling around enforcing rules. However, we only have very few mods, who have their own lives to live, and gain $0 from these B&S transaction.

I don´t understand the histerism for the bumps.

If I was the moderator I´ll ban those who insult all the time other posters but those instead have more than 20.000 post.

My 2 cents.

Really not the right place for this. Every complaint is looked into, and action is taken if it is warranted. An easy guideline is that if you create incendiary threads, especially in the current events forum, that you can expect people firing back. You are going to make me lose my sense of humor.

Fok.

I also suggest that every "price drop" annoucing post should list the original price and the new price. Something like this RL suit (from $200) - dropped to $170 as opposed to just "Price drop!!!!!" This way the mod doesn't have to go on an egg hunt to figure out if a legit drop has occured, especially when there's multiple items in the original listing.

It´s `plenty of non incendiary but really ofensive threads as " nixon is a fascist " . etc etc. And the author
has more than 20.000 post. I can expect people arguing , not giving free insults.

I don´t know about this forum but that is a motive of ban , facebook , etc etc.

I am not going to enforce this, but it is a good way to make things unambiguous for us. And since the stakes just went up, I'd encourage as little ambiguity as possble.

I don't want to argue this point in this thread, so I strongly advise that you do not respond to this post. I'm not going to censure anyone for saying the Nixon is a Fascist. If you think that I will, you're in the wrong forum. Also, that is in Current events. We pretty much have a hands off approach to that part of the forum, the exceptions being if someone openly espouses racist or homophobic or otherwise abhorrent views.

As someone who shops (and occasionally sells) in both subfora I wholeheartedly applaud and endorse the double-standard on the basis that they really are very different marketplaces, and particularly in light of comparisons with SuFu market as an alternative venue which has no price drop req whatsoever.

It should be at the point of sale. You write a big long post, and hit "post reply", and are met with a prompt: "This suggestion will cost you $1. Are you sure you want to proceed to Paypal checkout?"

Sorry to ask. If I bump another seller ( as I never sell anything ) thread because I like the items but not for me, should I be banned ? Thanks

That's fine, but if we find any evidence of collusion (which has happened), you'll not just be forum banned from buying and selling, but banned altogether.
