I've had to delete over a dozen threads today because people can't read the rules. Please see the "Why was my thread locked" stickied thread. There are no bumps allowed, not to answer questions, not to deal with thread shitting, nothing, with 2 exceptions: 1) Addition of goods. And we can detect bullshit. If you have 30 ties, and then add one a day thereafter, I consider that gaming the rules. 2) Price drops - at least 5% of the original price. If you have a consolidated thread, this only has to apply to one item. Again, common sense about gaming the system prevails. If you are selling $5K suits, and stick in one $100 tie that you keep on dropping $5 to bump your thread, I'm going to ding you. Because so many people cannot seem to abide by these very simple rules, I am going to start issuing forum bannings. It's not fair to other sellers who seem to be able to mind the rules just fine, nor to me, who gets $0 for my time. Anyone who is forum banned will only be able to start selling again by paying a $300 fine per infraction. Anyone who I find trying to circumvent this rule by any means will be banned permanently from the entire forum. Please note that you cannot circumvent the rules but practices like reposting the same thread the very next day, without the 5% pricedrop. Do stuff like this, or abuse Interest Checks, and you can expect the same. I'm starting a list of forum banned users here. The names will stay up until the $300 fine has been paid. To people who think that I am kidding about the fine: I'm not kidding. If you feel like having your thread perennially on the first page, buy a stickied thread. If you are selling 6 suits at $700/apiece, $50/week is a pretty inexpensive option.
