Please critique my budget MTM suit

Hi everyone,

So I bought my first MTM suit recently, and am thinking of using the same tailor again. I know there's a lot of problems with it, but the price was extremely good so I'd like to use the same tailor later and hopefully with less problems next time.

Sorry for the lack of angles, but please critique it for me! Should I ask for more waist suppression and a deeper & wider opening between the lapels?

I'm quite a skinny guy if that matters.

Thanks!

Your navy suit is listing to starboard.

Hard to tell from just one photo, but it looks OK to me. It could be your posture, but one sleeve looks longer than the other, a bit of pants cuff pooling at the bottom of your right leg, and jacket pocket flaps look a bit big. Additional photos from different angles would help.

More pics needed, not really great from what I can tell from this one pic.

The space between the lapels is fine. Don't change anything.
Have this one taken in/shaped at the waist and you will know what you want before starting the next one.
My taste is to have the lapels 1/2" wider, but that is what I like, maybe not for you.
There is not much wrong that stands out from this picture.

The right sleeves is a bit short but that is only becuase your right hand appears to be longer then the left is. the rest of the suit however seems to fit just fine.

Not bad at all. I would have the waist taken in just a bit more, and have the lapels be wider so as to add breadth to your chest.

Some may say that the sleeve pitch is a bit off and there seems to be something going on in the line from the neck to your right shoulder, but it really doesn't look too bad, particularly for your first MTM. I would prefer more open quarters, but that's pretty subjective. Well done.

Okay, thanks for the critique. I think it was just my posture that was causing one sleeve to look longer than the other. I never noticed the jacket pocket flaps were too big, but now that I do, it sticks out like a sore thumb haha! I also think it needs a bit more waist suppression. Here are some more angles... I have no idea why the suit sleeves look so wrinkled in the first picture.

Lonneker: the tailor is called ***** and he owns a tiny shop behind the fabric market in Shanghai.

I think you need the collar lowered a touch. looks good from the front but there are some sleeve pitch issues evident in the back view.

not bad, all in all.

Actually look pretty good. You just need to take everything in a little.

+1; not bad at all.

And thanks for sharing the tailor's name; certainly one of the coolest tailor names I have seen around here.
