What movie is that still from?

Jean Valjean, Agent 47 (from the Hitman games), and of course Denny Crane.

Denny Crane: "You left me, Shirley. Women don't leave Denny Crane. And for a secretary!"
Shirley Schmidt: "It was the Secretary of Defense."

ghost dog - the way of the samurai, by jim jarmusch. he's a bushido adhering
rooftop living pigeon fancying hitman. bear in mind it's by jarmusch though, so compared to lots of mainstream stuff it a tad slow (better for it imo).

Check out the French movie with Gerard Depardieu. You might like it. (I did.)

I quite liked the classic movie with Richard Chamberlain too.

I pity the fool who disagrees!

Sherlock Holmes, Frank Miller's "Dark Knight" Batman or The Irate Platypus (my City of Heroes character).

Hmmm...not very original...

I agree. A little trite but decent. A little like Leon but with Forrest Whittaker as a sort of urban bushi (I think he is a good actor in general). Revisiting it after a few years (and with a lot more background knowledge of budo) it did not fare as well with me as it did first time round. But not a bad film.

Skarpheddin Njalsson--if you consider him fictional. "Fictionalized" might be a better term.
