too expensive... when it comes to khakis and shorts I'm pretty cheap. I can't fathom what would make a pair of khakis pants $90 and shorts $70 PS I thoroughly enjoyed your flickr... nice to see not everyone is using it for their Appreciation nowadays

True, Dockers are $30, but they are also imported from overseas and I would venture to say that are not constructed as well or made with as fine materials. Most products made in the USA is going to be sold at a premium as opposed something imported. It all depends on what you are looking for.

I asked because I was looking for a top quality khaki that is going to last, and it seems to be a good value compared to another high-end, American made, khaki such as Bills. I just want value for what I pay.

I understand where you're coming from. As someone with a proud military background and just a lot of American pride, I've always bought American. I drive American and I even buy local produce (I'm from Southern California beach/farmland) so I thoroughly applaud your effort.

But just by looking at the pants... I don't see them (and I'm going off the site photos) as being that much greater than Dockers or Dickies. I'm all for buying American, again, but I'm not going to settle on quality just because it's American... especially at that price

You do have me curious about these though... I wonder if anyone here has an actual pair

Noted, well I'm going to give them a try and go ahead and order a pair. I'll let you know how they are.

Thanks.

Wow - really? That sounds like a decent deal if the construction and fabric is good. Some other made-in-the-USA khakis are up in the $250-$300 range like Engineered Garments and Spurr. Steven Alan's are around $150.

you are aware the vast majority of people just buy dockers right?

Our (this forum's) interest in more expensive clothing does not really permeate the rest of the culture.

I am indeed aware. I just figured that if you're on SF, you probably aren't one of the Dockers-buying masses.

Just curious if anyone has tried these yet and can post a review: fit, construction, etc.
