How Slim Do You Wear Your Pants?

Unsure of whether this should be posted here or in SW&D
I would like a consensus on how slim will you wear your casual pants.
(With the assumption that your body is of a medium build)
I am personally of medium build and unsure as to how slim is too slim.
Please share your preferences and reasons (if any) and your age range (20's, 30's, 40's,-70's, etc)
Thanks everyone.

I prefer women in their 20's and 30's, though I dabble in cougars and Milfs.

I like my flat front pants to fit trim through the thigh and taper to 7.5" at the hem. If my pants are pleated than taper to 7.75 - 8"

My fits my be slimmer than I am, so I wiggle into a pair in late May, climb out in early September and once a week walk thu a car wash.

When it comes down to it, you should go with what you feel comfortable in while being aware of the environment. I wear rather fitted sweater and shirts, but I wouldn't wear them in EVERY situation.

So would you say they are ass tight trousers or ball smasher slacks?!

While I went with option #3, I am restricted due to my rugby-playing ass and thighs.

I would call this a very skinny fit; I couldn't even get my foot through a 7.5" (15" total) leg opening.

Using the leg opening as a proxy for fit, I would say a 9" (18" total) leg opening is standard/regular/classic. Anything 8" and smaller would be skinny/hipster/chicken slacks. Anything 10" and wider would be relaxed fit/loose fit/wide leg.

I suppose I am somewhere between options 2 and 3. I prefer to wear pants at my waist. It seems that the rise on slimmer cut pants I have tried tend to be a bit too short for me. I have had luck with the fit of pants from J. Press.

Just got yesterday a Levis 518 with 17 centimeters leg opening. How is that ? For sure I plan to wear it with my dressy jackets.

It's all relative, I have a 30 waist, 38 Jacket.

This doesn't exactly strike me as 'chicken slacks'....

I wore Poll option 4 today. I am starting to enjoy slim all over again.
Just need to lose 20lbs more to pull it off better.

I bet you could.

Hem width is a matter of proportion. 7.5 inches may be pretty small for a guy with size 10 shoes and a 40 inch waist, but for someone such as myself with size 7.5 shoes, and a 28 inch waist, 7.5 inches is not particularly narrow.
