Hello,

I am new to this forum,

My name is Nestor and I am a professional clarinet player out in Philly. As result of my job, I am often dressed up for the performance occasion. So I come here original for the style. But I am wondering, is anyone also here a musician? What do you play?

I apologize for my english ok?

Would you be interested in playing this:

"Hey guys-

I've been thinking a lot about that girl back home and my heart is starting to feel like a piece of grinded beef but hey man but it's still beating inside of me . Well, tonight after smoking some Jamaican Booty Sweat I wrote this song expressing just how I feel . I hope one day to get my bass guitar back and lay down this track but for now you will have to feel the meaning of the words against the computer screen .

Do you ever stop and ponder
Where you'd be without her?

You listen, you listen, you listen
To what she said to your ear

The sound of sounds like lightening

The whisper, the promise, the soul lace
Of where you're lead to
Yeah

The sound of sounds lightening you

The sound of sounds in lightening

Have you forgotten who you are?
(Have you forgotten who you are?)
Have you forgotten who you are?
(Have you forgotten who you are?)

Could you ever stop and wonder
Could you live without her dumpling kisses?

The sound of sounds lightening you

The sound of sounds in lightening
Oooh, oooh Oh!

The sound of sounds in nlightening you
(The sound of sounds in lightening- a darkest hope)

The sound of sounds in lightening

That is very cool Hamish, I hope you do not give it up because you are busy! Musical art is great hobby even if it is not professional for many of us. It is natures oldest form of language.

Where do you play, Timbre? My friend is studying classical double bass at the Curtis Institute...

Composer (modern and romantic), used to do some electronic production as well:

I tried playing the piano when I was a teenager, but decided I was never going to be good enough at it to seriously pursue it.

Welcome, Timbre! Don't worry, we have a lot of posters here whose first language is not English. I am sure you will be loved just as much as they are.

I'm not musical at all. Even my grade school music teacher told me so.

I played the cornet for two years in middle school before blowing a solo of the Peter Gunn theme during a recital and quiting over the shame I must have caused my poor grandmother.

I used to play my classical instruments at my childhood..not now

Wow. 13 posts in and not a single skin flute reference. I'm very impressed by your maturity SF...very impressed, indeed.

I played the Bari Sax through high school and Tenor Sax through college.

Started on the clarinet in elementary and jr high.

I'm a professional musician. I play drums/mallet instruments with singer/songwriters, freelance as a jazz/free-improv drummer and play bass drum with the marching band Mucca Pazza. My avatar is a photo of the marching band.

It's a lot of work and takes hustle to make money, but it's worth all the trouble. Wouldn't rather be doing anything else.
