Which Levis do I have?

Hey guys,

I've been reading the different posts on the site and I think it's great. I have a pair of jeans that I have narrowed down to be Levis 514 in raw selvege denim. I think. I remember them having little black warning tags on them when i first got them...

I have found a few similar pairs on a thread on this site dealing with the 514's but I haven't found any with the black leather patch. Do you guys know what the black leather patch is and do you know where I can find these jeans?

they're levis 514's, buy them at pretty much any mall ever.

levis change their patches all the time for limited edition things.

last black patch i remember was on the 'imprint' line that are supposed to fade faster than normal.

selvage denim is made with a self edge... raw just means unwashed...

you can have selvage denim that is washed...
