The point I'm trying to make is, default should be you assume everything is bugged and go from there...the mere fact that someone (who ever it is) wants you to think your place is bugged, and your work is bugged should give you pause enough to just write them off. Not to mention the fact that he checked the hollywood textbook places to hide that stuff...but I digress. I really WANT this show to turn out well, so I'm pulling for it. Its just so...slow...

Am I the only one that LIKES that the show is slow? It's just a refreshing change from the television I'm used to, and I've rather enjoyed the slow pacing of the show so far.

I enjoy the pacing. I just worry that they'll keep writing themselves into corners like they are doing with Breaking Bad and did with Lost.

No you are not. They give you enough information each episode with a good layed approach.

Its not the pacing so much as the lack of any discernible plot details in the early episodes. The last two have been a welcome change.

What corner is Breaking Bad in? That show keeps getting better and better.

Not true if she's wearing a too, too short tight dress. Yes, if she's in sweats and crocs.

The director said he doesn't know where the show is headed after the season 2 finale ended. A couple of times I've had to refrain from rolling my eyes and just roll with it. Walter is in a sticky situation and I hope he can get out of it without getting too cheesy. I'm sure they can do it, I just hope the writers of Rubicon have a big plan or it might turn into Alias.

Oh god. Don't remind me about Alias...

That's what I'm wondering. The show keeps evolving, and there are multiple possibilities for next season. I don't see any problems at all. I even believed it when Walt killed those thugs, because throughout the show he's been evolving in that direction, partially out of greed and partially out of fear for his life. (What makes that more realistic is that he doesn't really like who he's become, but the greed and fear -- and now his renewing relationship with Skylar -- won't let him stop.)
