Try Swoopo.com if you want that option. Be careful though, it can hurt you bad if you don't know how the system works.

Snipe, only up to 70% max of best price I can find online unless it is something rare. Scan the BIN listings for the occasional deal.

Most eBay sellers are insane and the bidders are worse - ridiculous shipping prices, prices at or above MSRP, etc.

I only do Buy it Now. (0)

I do buy it now quite often

Mostly buy it now, I don't want to lose the auction. I might bid quite high as well, and then bid a couple of times if I really want it. However, I do prefer BIN.

There are several free sniping website that will bid for you. It takes the hassel and emotion out of buying. Although I do like the rush of bidding at the last second. I having been using Gixen to do my bidding for several years. The site isn't the most professional looking but I have never read about any problems or had any issues with my account being stolen.

+1, especially the first part, otherwise sometimes I just completely forgot about it, though when I do the first bid, it was completely for remind purpose, so I usually bid minimal allow amount.

I press place bid and then the confirm button on the next screen.

Never, ever place a bid directly on eBay. Use esnipe.com or similar. You tell it when to bid. Always choose 1 second. Then sit back and laff as some supposed sharp ass loses out when he places his bid at what he thinks is the oh-so daring last 3 seconds. Buy It Now is for chickens. Your chances are very good at winning your snipe if you see a dozen bids and you check the history and see it's like only two bidders out bidding each other in nickel and dime increments. Place your bad ass snipe, call out for a bj, relax and enjoy the fray. Oooo look up to the left. My 100th post! Now I get free stuff, right? And I can rag on Obama? Or maybe Beck? I can't decide I'm too excited.
