^^^ I kinda of disagree the thighs on a 29 are still 11 inches its not like they're a slim fitting jean, and the ass is big regardless, sizing down is not a problem with the amount of stretch that occurs (including thighs), i suppose a lot has to do with how much you plan on washing or soaking them too.

My experience has been that sizing down is too tight, sizing up too loose. Go for TTS in the waist.
