Toronto - any must see SW & D stores?

I'll be in Toronto next week. Are there any must see stores that people from GTA recommend?

Thanks.

Also, there used to be an edgy/stylish golf wear store called Free Your Game on Augusta Ave but I can't seem to find any current details for it. Is it still open? Relocated?

I was in Toronto last week and I'd say Nomad and Jonathan & Olivia are definitely worth seeing. Both currently have a decent amount of stuff on sale right now too.

Sydney's on Queen is pretty good, and the flagship Holt Renfrew at Bay and Bloor had a decent selection of streetwear. They've seemed to have thinned out their SW sections, but they're having a sale right now, so you may be able to catch something decent.

^ Sidneys burnt down... Holt was ok. Had some Yuketens on 50% sale, other than that I wasn't too impressed. Uncle Otis is near that Holt. They had some decent stuff too.

Uncle Otis, as mentioned, is excellent. Klaxon Howl is a great shop, too, specializing in vintage military and workwear. They carry a ton of really nice vintage pieces, their own line, and I believe they sell Sugar Canes, as well.

Oh man, were they part of that huge fire? Bummer, I haven't been there since last summer. Sorry for the misinformation.

I agree about Holt's--it's hit or miss, and with the sale running as long as it has, you might not have much luck. Nevertheless, if you make the trip to Yorkville you can always stop in.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I suppose no one is familiar with golf shop?

Haven't heard or the Golf store you speak of. It's apparently at 202 augusta which is a storefront that seems to have a high turnaround. I would say check it out and worst case scenario you get some empanadas from El Gordo's two doors down.
