I would love to wear this jacket,
but I bought it long before I understood anything about proper fit/size.
It's only been worn a few times, and it's time to pass it along to someone who can use it.

If you want specific measurements, let me know.

I paid a LOT for this jacket. (But not $895, as the tag states)
But more than any other article of clothing in my closet, frankly.

I have learned so much from SF.
As payback, I am happy to give it away to someone here who deserves some payback.

If free devalues it, you're welcome to make an offer or trade.

That's incredibly sporting of you - three cheers! I'm soon going to be doing a closet cleaning of my own of similar pre-SF and early-SF stuff that is perfectly fine, but I'm not going to be wearing. You've encouraged me to do something similar. Alas, I'm not sure I have any cast-offs that are anywhere near as nice.

Wow, I've been looking for something just like that. Tried on some but they were way more than I wanted to spend. Any chance you might be able to provide measurements? Shoulders and Chest would be awesome. I wear a ~17.5" shoulder with a ~19-20" chest (usually around a 37-38). I'm leaving for a camping trip tomorrow so I'm not sure how much internet access I'll have but I'm really interested. I'd be happy to buy you a tie or something if the measurements are close for me. I am a 40R and this jacket is too big for me. Shoulder seam length (base of collar to shoulder edge) = 8 (This is 6.5 for a 40R) Shoulder seam to Shoulder seam straight across the back = 22 Length (collar to bottom)= 34 Sleeve = 25

Beautiful, I would like to take this however being a 36 I do not want to be greedy. It's better to pass it on to someone who can wear the jacket. To my knowledge the general consensus with Forestiere is to size one or two down depending on how you want the jacket to fit. The information is based on the Arnys thread. Just out of curiosity, does the jacket structured (canvassed) or unstructured?

after all this time.  have you sold the jacket?  I would be interested to have it ... let  me know.    I have four men in my life and probably  one of them would use it!  madreluna
