Advise on how to go about styling my hair this way

Hi Guys and Gals

I'm looking to get a new hairstyle, I'm currently sporting a faux hawk that really feels like I'm sporting a mushroom cut 20 years to late.

Anyways, here is the style im going for.

What do you people think? Will it work? How can I style it this way? products, method etc.

Looks like your hair is thick enough to pull it off. Honestly I would just let it grow a little longer so they have something to work with and take a couple nice prints of what you are looking for to a good hair stylist. If they know what they are doing it shouldn't be hard for them to pull off with your hair.

Also, great you are loosing the fohawk. It's overdone with men in general and has got to go.
