Headed down for a long weekend on Thursday. Wife obesessed with cuban food. Traveling with a 1 year old, but not really a factor, shes great at restaurants. Whats the best place possible Cuban in or around south beach? I dont care about atmosphere or decor, just the real deal best cuban.

They also have an outpost at the airport. Their media noches are the shit. Rather unfortunate I can't comment on their food other than sandwiches.

Miami is such a great place. I love latin food (and latinas), so maybe I'm biased, but the variety is unreal. La Carreta is very good, as GT said.

Don't only go to Little Havana. Try some of the other locales around Miami. Those spanish fold are fond of migrating.

Miami is crap, Cuban food is crap but if you must Versailles (Little Havana classic), La Carreta (various, the airport one is pretty good), Puerto Sagua in South Beach.
