i had acne from age 15-16 at which point I went to this insanely old school dermatologist. he wore maginfying glasses on his head and would bring me in his office and pop my zits/blackheads. He prescribed 3 things. One was a strict diet which barred me from eating lots of things (strangely enough, no fish, pineapple, or any colored sodas) then he would give me a prescription with all these ingredients on it, which I would bring to the pharmacy and they would mix up for me. the last thing was sulfur soap and cold water. you can get sulfur soap from behind the counter. you wash with it and use very cold water. then make sure to throughly dry your face. Ive never had acne since.
