Need help with hair style please

Hi I have never really found a good haircut to suit my face. Can someone give me some advice on what i can do. I have attached a pic of my current hair style which i know isnt really working for me.

I just wanted to add that you can't see it but I have a little longer length on top than on the sides and back. Its like a number 3 on top and number 1 on the sides and back.

You have deep-set eyes and angular features; I'd actually recommend longer hair to soften up your look. Short hair looks too severe on a face like yours. I'm not suggesting you go all Justin Bieber ghey/emo with the long hair or anything, but grow it out.
