Footwear recommendations for the fall?

Hey guys,

I was hoping you could help me out with some footwear recommendations for the fall. I'm planning on getting a pair of those Varvatos deerskin boots or something similar. I want to get one other pair of shoes, something a bit more casual. I have enough sneakers so those are out. I was hoping someone could recommend a loafer type of shoe, something easy to kick on and off, that will look good with jeans. On top, I wear a sweater or hoodie whenever I can. I'm planning on picking up a few Jantzen casual shirts as well but they will probably be worn with a sweater or hoodie most of the time anyways. I don't know if that makes a difference or not regarding footwear.

Based on your requirements, I would recommend the Brown Suede Chuka Boots AF50 from Alden of Carmel:

Scroll through the selection on the left side. The proprietor Adam Knott is great to deal with but sizes are limited on some models and the wait for out of stock items can take a few months.

BTW, I've ordered a half size down from my regular shoe size on the Alden "Plaza Last."

Good luck.
