Navy captoe sneakers: which?

So, independent of brand and price, which of these do you prefer for a navy leather captoe sneaker? They will not get the daily beating that my Chucks do and will be more of a going out shoe:

if you're going to buy a shoe that looks just like chucks, just get a pair of chucks

That was my initial thought, but I wanted something that looked a bit more refined and would more easily go more places. I always see the Chuck-look-alikes do this better than actual Chucks, but perhaps I should take a look at some of the less common, non-canvas Chucks.

You could always design a custom pair of chucks on Converse's website using a different material like leather or suede. It's $75, which is a bit more than classic canvas chucks but judging from the shoes you posted it's well within your price range.

Other ideas are get a pair of slim-soled chucks, or switch it up with some Jack Purcell's.

Finally, if you want to go for a different design, I really like the look of PF Flyers Number 5's (I actually just ordered a pair):

Also to add, chucks have a 'slim' version nowadays

if you're willing to spend that much on the Prada's, i'd just go hunting for Lanvins on sale. not sure if i am following the rules of "independent of price"
