Yes, you read it right. Here is a massive collection of John Lobb bespoke shoes. A few notes about the shoes, then lets begin:
1. The shoes are all built (my guess) late 80s early 90s
2. All fit approximately a US 10, standard to slightly wider width.
3. All come with the original bespoke shoe trees unless otherwise pictured without or noted
4. The name plates bearing the owners name will be removed from the trees prior to delivery
5. There will be some minor condition issues, as these have been worn, but not heavily. If there is a major defect on it, I will highlight it.
6. While the heels on these are rather high at 2", you can absolutely have them taken down at any cobbler at least 3/4" to 1", IMO.
Here are the approximate measurements that they are all built on :
Outsole length - 11.5"
Outsole width - 4 1/8"
Insole length - 11 6/8"
Heel height - 2"
Ive seen these shoe trees alone sell for $100-$150 alone here and on the 'bay, so while the style of the shoes might not be current, this thread should be a flippers feeding frenzy. Ive kept the prices low to turn around a quick sale and to help your profit margin if you want to flip them!
As usual, no holds, first to pay gets them, payment by paypal NON-personal only, prices include shipping anywhere in the world.
QUESTION AND ANSWER PERIOD!
These are some of the best alligator skins Ive seen on footwear.
I would not personally bespeak so tall.
Ive seen much, much, much worse.
I dont know about fubar, but Im fairly certain they could be reworked to be a bit more modern. Dont forget, there are many people out there who love a cuban heel. I dont expect the SF community to be rocking these, as I mentioned, the point of the thread was really to offer you guys a chance at a resale opportunity.
Umm, definitely not.
Ill never tell....

probably fubar the balance of the shoe, toes pitching up, weight resting too far back on the foot

Just because a man may have ordered and worn these shoes does not make them men's shoes, any more than if my wife bought herself a pair of men's shoes for wear. Definitely women's shoes. Sloane Ranger? Cha.

Those are clearly men's shoes from probably the '60s or '70s. Very Mod, and very expensive.
I wish they were smaller so I could buy them--in fact, what are the lengths of the soles?
